Englewood
Englewood, Florida is a cozy and picturesque town at the south end of Sarasota County and the west side of Charlotte County. Unlike some of the more touristy spots in the area, this coastal city that stretches almost 13 square miles has a very charming and residential character with a variety of real estate. Englewood is home to about 46,000 full time residents, and like most of the Sarasota area, the population is mostly older. Many young families live in this peaceful city as well, and there are schools available for elementary through high school.

With four Gulf side beaches, Lemon Bay and Charlotte Harbor Estuary, residents take part in many aquatic activities from boating and fishing to swimming and just enjoying the view on top of the soft sand. While the town of Englewood has a real laid-back attitude, the excitement of city life isn’t far. Sarasota and Tampa, Florida are located to the north and Fort Myers and Naples, Florida are positioned to the south providing employment, shopping, night life and cultural attractions.
